ICx Radiation

- US headquarters in Oak Ridge, Tennessee
ICx Radiation Inc. (formerly known as Target Instruments, Inc.) was formed as a USA corporation in January of 2003. The initial intention was to establish a U.S. branch of Target Systemelectronic GmbH in order to provide prompt and professional service for North America and overseas customers.
Extensive alterations were required on the building and once they were completed, operations were opened at 100 Midland Road, Oak Ridge, Tennessee in early June of 2003. Since then Target Instruments has expanded beyond the initial sales support and service operation to include product R&D and manufacturing. To this day, in one fashion or another, every member of our company is dedicated to providing new products for security markets worldwide and to the support and training of the Homeland Security, environmental, medical and research customers in the USA.
Target Instruments Inc. became a part of ICx Technologies in November 2005. ICx is dedicated to providing the highest technology possible for the protection of our borders and the overall security of our homeland.
In January of 2007, under the umberella of the ICx Detection Group, the company name was changed to ICx Radiation and the two units, based in the U.S. and Germany, work together presenting a consolidated and consistent entity to the world-wide marketplace.
